What Lumen is
Lumen is a site about tarot, astrology and numbers. You can draw a card of the day, read the horoscope for your sign, build a natal chart, work out the numbers in your name and birth date, and see how two signs get along. All of that is free and needs no account. The personal readings and reports — a tarot spread, an astrology or numerology report, a compatibility reading — are paid, and their price is on the page before you begin.
How it is calculated
Planet positions, moon phases and eclipse times are not copied from anyone else's articles — the site computes them from astronomical data for the date, time and place you enter. That is why a natal chart for the minute you were born differs from one for somebody born an hour later, and why the eclipse time for Madrid differs from the time for Cádiz. The meanings themselves are written in advance and are the same for everyone who gets the same result, and we are not going to pretend otherwise.
What we do not promise
No page on this site predicts the future, and none of it replaces a doctor, a lawyer or a financial adviser. A card, a sign and a number are a language for thinking about yourself, not a timetable of events. When the question is serious, the answer is a specialist, not a spread.
Who makes it
The project is run by one person — Artem Grebennikov. There is no editorial board, no hereditary astrologers, no invented experts: the texts are written and checked by hand, the arithmetic is done by code, and one named person answers for both.
Languages
The site is written in ten languages: English, Russian, Spanish, Portuguese, Ukrainian, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Finnish and Korean. This is not machine translation — every language has its own text, and the Korean section additionally carries saju, gunghap and unse, which the others do not.
